Cultural Validation and Translation Review Toolkit (2024): Developing Culturally Responsive and Linguistically Accurate Materials in the U.S.
The revised Cultural Validation and Translation Review toolkit from CARRE, NRC-RIM and CORE can be used to support and enhance material development to ensure resources and supports in different languages are relevant, accurate and accepted within and across diverse cultural communities, while ensuring organizations are practicing cultural humility and taking concrete steps toward language justice and access. This toolkit is designed to help service providers and organizations better understand the principles and practices of Cultural Validation and Translation Review. It also includes templates, tips and case studies to aid providers who are new to the Cultural Validation and Translation Review process.
